Another Soccer Tournament

Once again, I had another soccer tournament to go to... this time it was the team that I was coaching a couple weeks later in Europe. We headed to the Rushmore Cup in Rapid City, South Dakota for a brush up befor playing in Sweden and Denmark. Garret and I used it as a little vacation again going to Mount Rushmore... We were racing to get to Mt. Rushmore after one of our games and had some good luck. It was about 30 minutes away for Rapid City and we weren't sure what time in closed. We were traveling into the very small tourist town it is located in when Garret accidentally runs a red light that neither of us noticed as we were trying to look for signs on where to go. Of course, there was a cop at the light as well. He ends up pulling us over and we explain the situation that we are trying to make it to Mt. Rushmore before it closes and with all the lights all over the city we truly did not see the light. He was very nice and just said to be careful and let us go. Then we make it to Mt. Rushmore... assuming we can pay our car parking with our debit card, we didn't have any cash on us. The parking attendant just let us go in for free! Super nice... pretty good luck!

After going to Mt. Rushmore, Garret and I headed to the Rushmore Caves before we left to head back to Billings...
