My youth team ended up winning State Cup this year, which pretty much means that they are the best u15 girls team in the state of Montana. With that, we had to travel to wonderful Lancaster, CA for Regionals where all the states in our region send their State Cup winners. My team did very well for a team from Montana that only plays 3-4 months out of the year compared to the other teams we played against that play all year. We almost made it out of our bracket -- tying with 2 other teams in our bracket, the team with the least amount of goals scored on them moved on. With that said, we had 1 more goals scored on us than the other two teams so we were out. The girls had fun and played well.
One of my friends from college moved from Montana to California in order to attend graduate school. She is working with the LA Dodgers and the LA Galaxy. Here are some pictures from the Dodger's Game:
