Hiking with Friends

Some friends and I drove on the Beartooth Mountain Highway to go hiking at Island Lake. It was absolutely beautiful there! Our friends' dogs really enjoyed the hike too.... running through the creek and jumping in the lake. It was very funny to watch them!

The flowers were beautiful along the lakeside. The most beautiful were the Indian Paintbrush... they are pink and are actually Wyoming's state flower!

We hiked for quite a while until a storm came in... we were practically being chased by a lightening storm! It was right behind us!!! We made it to the car just in time and rain came shooting down! Geez... Montana/Wyoming weather!!!
